Dog Boarding for Your Family Friend
K9 By Anne is your dog’s home away from home. We offer overnight, weekend, short and long-term boarding in our climate controlled kennel facility in St. Thomas, Ontario. Your dog will be cared for in a safe, clean and healthy atmosphere where they can chew on their favourite toy, participate in a play group, play fetch with a member of our staff or just lounge and take a nap.

We have a Staff Member on Premises
You can rest assured that your dog will be properly supervised. We have a staff member on the premises overnight to make sure your pet is safe and comfortable. We are Dogsafe® Canine First Aid certified and located directly across the road from the Elgin Animal Hospital.
What You Should Bring
K9 By Anne asks that you please bring the following for your pet’s stay with us.
- Your own food (please no glass containers or bowls)
- Special feeding items (treats)
- Medication
- Toys and small blankets that are machine washable
- Please do not bring feeding or water bowls as we have plenty
- Current copy of your dog’s vaccinations, including bordetella (for new customers or annual updates)
Vaccination Policy
Your pet’s vaccinations must be up-to-date and proof provided on your first visit and yearly thereafter. Bordetella (kennel cough) is an airborne virus that can be present anywhere there are dogs (e.g. dog park, kennels, shelters, dog shows). It is often referred to as the doggie flu. The bordetella vaccine is given 2 different ways: intranasal or by injection. Intranasal must be given 2 days before boarding and the injection must be given 7 days before boarding. If you have any questions about vaccines, please call our office to discuss.

- Mon - Fri: 8 AM - 5:30 PM
Sat/Sun (Holidays): 8 AM - 4 PM
Cost
Please Note: The days you reserve for your dog's stay will be the days you are charged for.
KENNEL PRICES
- First dog - $38.50 per night
- Second dog - $33.50 per night
- Checkout After 11AM - $16.50 (if your dog checks out after 11AM on the day of departure) there is an added fee.
IN-HOME PRICES
We also offer In-Home boarding for small. old, or infirm dogs.

- Second dog - $35 per night
- Checkout After 11AM - $20
Cancellation Policy:
As we are limited in the number of dogs we can accommodate it impacts our business greatly when a reservation is cancelled last minute. Therefore the following cancellation policy is in effect:
We require 5 days notice to cancel reservations without a charge. Reservations cancelled under 5 days notice there will be a charge of $45.
